Bourenemouth 11th September 2001

This was to be a day the world would not soon forget, it was also the day that Grand Master Yip Chun visited me for the last time in the UK and Sam's 11th birthday (my youngest).

Having been let down by our intended venue, I was also in a state of panic. Where were we going to hold the seminar? The answer was my rather large garage and a whole load of chairs that we borrowed from the hall that let us down.

Not an ideal setting for Grand Master I thought, but like the true professional he is, he not only conducted the seminar but found a place in the hearts of those who attended.
